No pressure, no production.
In a steel plant, hydraulics clamp, lift, balance, position and cut under heat, scale and shock load. BEISCO solves hydraulics together with established partners in the field.
Hydraulics rarely fail all at once. A seal weeps, a valve sticks, pressure drifts, and a stand, a shear or a furnace door stops doing what it should. The fix is rarely just a part. It is knowing what the circuit has to do in the machine.
That is where BEISCO starts: from the equipment the system drives. We design and build rolling mill equipment and manufacture meltshop equipment, so we treat hydraulics as part of the machine, not as a separate purchase.

Where hydraulics work in a steel plant
- Reheating furnaceFurnace doors, pushers and walking-beam movements: heavy loads, moved slowly and exactly, close to the heat.
- Rolling mill standsRoll balancing, clamping and roll change: the forces that keep rolls and chocks in position while the stand rolls.
- Shears and finishingCutting, clamping, transfer and stacking: short strokes, repeated thousands of times a shift.
- MeltshopElectrode arms, roof lift and swing, furnace tilting, slide gates: movements that must work every heat.
- Around the lineGuides, gates, tilting tables and the smaller circuits: when one of them fails, the line stops.
What we supply in hydraulics
- Hydraulic power unitsPumps, tank, filtration, cooling and controls in one unit, sized to the duty of the machine it drives.
- Hydraulic cylindersCylinders for clamping, lifting, balancing and positioning, new or as replacements to drawing.
- ValvesDirectional, pressure and flow control valves, including proportional valves where a movement has to be exact.
- PumpsPumps matched to the pressure, flow and duty cycle of the circuit, for new systems and for replacement.
- Hydraulic componentsAccumulators, filters, hoses, fittings, seals and the gauges and sensors that show what the circuit is doing.
- Hydraulic system engineeringCircuit design for new equipment, revamping of existing systems, installation and commissioning support.
How we work
- 01The machineWe start from what the machine has to do, and what it does now.
- 02The circuitWith our partner, we define the circuit and its components.
- 03The supplyPower units, cylinders, valves and components, from one source.
- 04The start-upInstallation and commissioning support on site, with the mill.
With established partners.
BEISCO solves hydraulics together with established partners in the field. We bring what we know about rolling mills and meltshops; they bring their hydraulic products and the engineering behind them. For the mill, that means one contact for all of it.
