Cooling beds
For rebar mills, section mills and meltshops
Bars arrive at mill speed. They must leave cold, straight and in order.
The cooling bed is where speed turns into straightness.

Each bar has to be braked, placed and indexed so that it cools evenly and reaches the cold shear ready to cut and pack.
BEISCO designs and builds cooling beds and their delivery systems for rebar mills, section mills and meltshops.
